Sign our pledge in support of West Dallas residents

More than 300 West Dallas residents are facing eviction right now after being abandoned by their landlord, HMK Ltd.

These residents deserve to stay in their homes. They also deserve to live in a city where affordable housing is available, and where that affordable housing is dignified and located in the neighborhoods they have called home for decades.

The City of Dallas took a step in the right direction by raising standards for rental properties, but city officials must not stop there. The City must be equally committed to ensuring that affordable, dignified housing is available, and that residents have a pathway to homeownership.

These tenants are not chess pieces. They are West Dallas.

Sign this pledge if you support these residents and their desire to continue living in their homes.
