TOP PAC Endorses Ina Minjarez for Bexar County Judge

Minjarez’s leadership and vision will lift up Bexar County’s working-class residents

Texas Organizing Project (TOP) PAC is proud to announce the endorsement of Ina Minjarez for Bexar County Judge. Minjarez has served seven years in the Texas House, representing District 124 residents.

Over the course of her legislative career, Minjarez has authored and voted in favor of numerous bills that have prioritized the needs of Bexar County’s families, ranging from expanded healthcare access, to stronger public schools, to criminal legal reforms.

“Bexar County deserves an experienced leader at the helm who will center the most important issues for Black and Latino communities, especially as we continue to navigate living through this pandemic,” said Michelle Tremillo, Co-Executive Director of TOP. “Representative Minjarez is the best candidate in this race to steer Bexar County toward a progressive future where working-class residents can grow and thrive.”

“The choice in this Democratic runoff for Bexar County Judge could not be more clear. Representative Minjarez’s commitment to defending the rights of everyday Texans of color who are being targeted by right-wing politicians makes her the superior candidate,” said Kevin LeMelle, a TOP board member in San Antonio. “We’re ready to get to work to ensure TOP helps elect her, so we can advance policies that will improve the lives of the more than two million people who call Bexar County home.”
